My name is Nikola Malovic, and I dream of making the best accounting application for nano companies which I have been trying to reach for a very long time as a hobby working on nights and weekends.
A few weeks ago, I decided to restart the work on Papiri again using the latest & greatest tech in the Microsoft world, and the experience so far has been both exhilarating and frustrating.
NetCore is a fantastic platform, Azure is a fantastic cloud platform, and I love Xamarin, but the documentation and specific how-tos are not so great (especially compared to the javascript world where I’ve been living for the last few years)
So, here we go – I’ll share on this blog the specific ways I overcame specific challenges in building my hobby app Papiri, and I hope it will save someone the hours of frustration I had to go through to get to those outcomes.
